Freddie Spencer's BIRTHDAY
This year, the Sunday Ride Classic 2025 celebrates the birthday of a legend: Freddie Spencer and his incredible double headline performance from 1985!
Just 40 years ago, Freddie Spencer won the 2 major titles in the GP 250 and GP 500 in the same year.
This historic feat has never been repeated.
Facing exceptional competitors in each category like
E Lawson, C Sarron or even C Lavado, and T Mang, Freddie Spencer made history by winning the 2 crowns, and every Sunday he got off his 250 to go racing with the 500.
Since then, no one has achieved the same feat.
All this at the time of the two ultra violent times!
